HISTORY

Bert’s Motor Cycles was established by Les Toogood and Tim Lewis, as Bert’s Motor Cycle Engineering Ltd, in 1982. Some years later Tim went off on a world trip, but was tragically lost at sea, which was a great loss to one and all. With some help from his friends, Les carried on solo. He was able to draw on wealth of experience, dating back to before he was born, as his whole family has been involved with motorcycles from early times.
