Further to Reg's message regarding the mistake on the Home Page, the eagle eyed amongst you will note that this has now been corrected.

May I respectfully point out an error on the home page? The VMCC was founded in 1946 (not 1948 as stated) thus this being the 50th. Anniversary of the club. The article on Testing Times & two stroke lubrication is amazing.
Would it be an idea to mention that our section raised the sum of £40.00 for the Ventnor Cricket Club at the general knowledge quiz held on the 16th. Feb.?

Thank you Reg. This will be corrected ASAP. WebMaster.

Its a pity the Newsletter didn't enthuse a few more "dormant members " to contribute when it was running. Odd, that now it has stopped it has encouraged at least one to reach for the keyboard .................. Long may it continue.
As its obviously such a lifeline, perhaps Brian, you would like to take on the Editors job !!.

I would like to endorse Tony Dymott's message .
The News letter is the most notable asset the Section has . Whilst the Scurry gives the Section a profile it obviously does not enthuse enough Section members , the Newsletter does cater to all. Even a one page 3-4 times a year would at least advise all local members, and give them a chance to attend in the future, how else can the dormant members be encouraged to get involved.
